Skill Development Program

 One day Workshop on Skill Development Program was organized by DPG Degree College, Gurugram, on 22nd August 2022 in collaboration with Vigilante Digital Education Pvt. Ltd. The program was inaugurated by Mr. Deepak Gahlot Hon’ble Vice Chairman of DPG Degree College, Gurugram, Dr. S.S. Boken Principal, Dr. Amita Singh (convenor).The objectives of the workshop was to build up skills and share knowledge with participants about importance of soft skills.

Description: Vice Chairman, Mr. Deepak Gahlot started the session with his motivational words. The Respected principal of DPG Degree College, Gurugram College, extended his warm welcome and introduced the college to the resource person. The program was followed by the with welcome of dignitaries by Dr. Amita Singh, with a brief introduction of the workshop by the Organizing coordinator. After the inauguration, Session was taken by speaker in which speaker laid emphasis on building the skills and innovative idea. This workshop on Soft Skill Training are organized for enhancing the interview skills & techniques, time management, decision-making, problem-solving ability of students.

The entire session was organized under the guidance of convenor Dr. Amita Singh, Convenor with assistance of member of Research & Extension Lecture committee. Many faculties and students took part in workshop. The event consisted of number of sessions in which presentations on various aspects of Topic were given by the expert and the session was followed by a discussion.The session was end with a small quiz to check the understanding of the participants; many gave accurate answers. It was a successful event.

Valedictory session: At the end of the session was there was a Valedictory speech given by Dr. Priya and Dr. Devkanya. Event convener Dr. Amita Singh (HoD Botany) proposed the Vote of Thanks.
