One day Workshop on “Basics of entrepreneurship” was organized by DPG degree college, Gurugram, on 17th March 2022. The program was inaugurated at the hands of Mr. Deepak Gahlot Hon’ble Vice Chairman of DPG degree college, Gurugram. Dr. S.S. Boken Principal, DPG was presiding over the inaugural function of the conference.
Dr. Smita Sharma, Spokesperson told about the main area of entrepreneurship. She initially described the meaning of An entrepreneur and described entrepreneur as a person with ability and desire to establish, administer and succeed in a startup venture along with risk entitled to it, to make profits.
Then the speaker focused on the role played by new and innovate idea for starting of a new business venture and discussed how to bring new ideas in the market by replacing old with a new invention.
In next part of her presentation she discussed few successful and famous entrepreneurs of India like Ritesh Agarwal, Shiv Nadar. Also discussed about a famous show on television known as shark tank and talk about its sharks-Amita Singh, Ashneer Grover.
In such way this workshop consisted of number of sessions in whichpresentations on various aspects of skill development were given by the experts and the session was followed by a discussion.
At the end of the day valedictory session was there, and Dr. Anita and Dr. Rekha has given the Valedictory speech. The Conference convener Dr. Amita Singh, HOD Botany proposed the Vote of Thanks.
